I had a grand time here! The staff were lovely and so friendly, always making sure I had bottled water daily. It’s just a short walk to Kata Beach, but be ready to take on a wee hill. My room could’ve used better air conditioning, though.

A peaceful getaway with charm

My stay at Aloha Residence was a delightful experience overall. The large, clean room with a lovely balcony was perfect for drying swimwear and taking in the serene views of the surrounding hills. The friendly staff made me feel at home, and having water bottles topped up daily was a refreshing touch. The lobby area offered a cozy space to relax, and the location was excellent for easy access to the beach.

There were a few drawbacks. The internet connection was unreliable on some floors, and I found the mattress too firm for my comfort. Security was also a concern as the front door lacked a lock, making me a bit uneasy about the safety of my belongings. Though the breakfast options were decent, they could benefit from more variety.

The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the beach. The room features, like the tiny balcony, were perfect for drying my wet swimwear. Cleanliness was spot on, and housekeeping provided fresh water bottles each day, which was a delightful touch. I faced issues with the laundry service, as my clothes weren't fully dried and some got damaged. the wifi was spotty on different floors, which was a bit frustrating. I also had to rent a motorbike since the hotel is not right next to the main attractions. despite a few shortcomings, it was a pleasant stay.

The bedsheets were stained, but the room was freshly refurbished and cozy.

The communication barrier at the reception was frustrating. the cleanliness of certain areas in the room left much to be desired. Lastly, the strong smell from the refurbished furniture was quite unpleasant, and I struggled with it throughout my stay.

Free wi-fi was spotty, but comfy bed and great staff made up for it.

the staff here are super friendly and really made me feel welcome. the location is just a quick walk to the beach which is cool. i loved having a little balcony to chill and dry our stuff. the room was clean and decent enough for chilling after exploring. plus, we got water bottles every day which was awesome.

but the breakfast was really not great and pretty limited, and sometimes there was no water in the hotel.
